I’m Heather White, founder of WHITE Atelier Interiors. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of shaping a wide range of environments, from full-service and quick-serve restaurants and cocktail lounges to boutique hospitality spaces, adaptive reuse projects, and residential lofts designed for modern living. Each project in my portfolio reflects a consistent intention: to create spaces that feel distinctive, layered, and deeply connected to their purpose and setting.

My approach to design is intuitive and place led. I believe the most compelling interiors emerge from spending time within a space, understanding its proportions, history, and natural character, then allowing those qualities to guide the transformation. Whether introducing age and depth to a new build or restoring warmth to a worn interior, my focus is always on revealing a space’s inherent potential.

Often, meaningful change begins with what already exists. Through thoughtful editing and relayering of furnishings, artwork, and objects, complemented by carefully sourced vintage and contemporary pieces, I reshape environments to feel renewed, cohesive, and personal.

My goal is not simply to redesign a space, but to uncover and express the story already present within it.
